Auction Donation: Alison Green Myers

Auction Donor: Alison Green Myers writes young adult novels, the scarier the better. While my voice pleases the young adult crowd, my eye wanders to picture book design in my studies and instruction. I am a National Writing Fellow and an ARA for Eastern Pennsylvania’s chapter of SCBWI. I also work with the Highlights Foundation to plan and facilitate writers’ workshops at their Northeastern Pennsylvania retreat center and I contribute regularly to the Foundation's blog. To learn more about me or my workshops visit: http://alisongreenmyers.com/

Donation item: 50-page critique of YA manuscript

What you'll get if you win: I look forward to reading the first 50 pages of your finished manuscript or work in progress. The winning AWESOME BIDDER of this critique will receive comments about plot, characterization, dialogue, and setting, as well as notes on pacing and overall clarity. I will point out grammatical and spelling problems. I will provide you with a summary of my observations as well as track changes in the document. As an added bonus: I'll craft a pitch for your project (as long as the first 50 pages you provide includes the magic ingredients needed to whip up a stellar pitch).

Starting Bid: $10
